Some of the best utility of tonneau covers is found in roll up tonneau covers. If there were no such thing as theft, then a roll up tonneau cover would be at the very top of the line for your truck bed.

The utility of roll up tonneau covers is found in the idea that you can get full (100%) access to your truck bed whenever you need it. Other types of tonneau covers, such as folding tonneau covers or hard tonneau covers, sometimes need to be completely removed in order to have the ability to haul larger or taller items. This simply isn't so with roll up tonneau covers!

There are some snap tonneau covers that 'roll-up', but they are in another category.

Most roll up tonneau covers use hook and loop seals along the edge, others use real Velcro. Both work in similar ways, they keep the elements out of your truck bed.

Each of the manufacturers of the covers we have at eTonneauCover.com offer very simple installations. There is no need for drilling on any of them, and installation typically takes about 30 minutes, or less.

Typically, the material covering your truck bed will be a UV resistant vinyl and will be black with a little texture to compliment your trim on your truck.

The security of these roll up covers are found in the idea of 'out of sight-out of mind'. When you lock your tailgate, there is no easy access for potential thieves unless they use a knife or something similar and destroy the tonneau cover.

All of Access covers have full bed access just by rolling them up, while other manufacturers give you full bed access just by removing the 'cross bows' or supports. These supports, common on all roll up covers, keep your tonneau cover from sagging due to rain or snow or gravity.

All roll up tonneau covers have a low profile, ranging from about 1 1/2" to 1/2"...to nearly flush.

If you tend to use your truck bed a lot in order to haul larger or taller items, and security is a secondary issue, then a roll up cover is the perfect cover for you!
