Retractable Tonneau Covers

Retractable tonneau covers offer the security of a hard tonneau cover and the ease of use of soft roll up tonneau covers.

The best way to describe retractable tonneau covers is to think of an accordion. These tonneau covers retract toward the front of your truck bed with small panels that fold on each other. Sometimes, the canister may take up a little bit of the space of your truck bed, but this space is quite limited.

Retractable covers tend to sit flat or flush with your truck bed and the panels are usually made of aluminum or a hard plastic. Typically they come in the color black to compliment the trim on your truck.

Most retractable tonneau covers can be locked in any position in your truck bed, so you don’t always have to open it all the way up.

One particular downside of retractable tonneau covers is that they may leak water a little bit, but most are fairly weather-tight.
